HC-SR04 Ultrasonic Range Finder Sensor

This HC-SR04-Ultrasonic Range Finder is a very popular sensor which is found in many applications where it requires to measure distance and detect the objects.
The module has two eyes like projects in the front which forms the Ultrasonic transmitter and Receiver.  The HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor uses sonar to determine the distance to an object like bats or dolphins do.
This Ultrasonic Sensor module is a transmitter, a receiver and a control circuit in one single pack!! It has very handy and compact construction. It offers excellent range accuracy and stable readings in an easy-to-use package. Its operation is not affected by sunlight or black material like Sharp rangefinders are (although acoustically soft materials like cloth can be difficult to detect).
The Trigger and the Echo pins are the I/O pins of this module and hence they can be connected to the I/O pins of the microcontroller/Arduino. When the receiver detects return wave the Echo pin goes high for a particular amount of time which will be equal to the time taken for the wave to return back to the sensor.

حساس قياس المسافة بالموجات فوق الصوتية HC-SR04

يُعد هذا الحساس HC-SR04 لقياس المسافة بالموجات فوق الصوتية من أشهر الحساسات المستخدمة في كثير من التطبيقات التي تتطلب قياس المسافة واكتشاف الأجسام.

تحتوي الوحدة في مقدمتها على جزأين يشبهان العينين، وهما يمثلان مرسل ومستقبل الموجات فوق الصوتية. يستخدم حساس HC-SR04 تقنية السونار لتحديد المسافة إلى الجسم، بنفس الفكرة التي تستخدمها الخفافيش والدلافين.

تجمع هذه الوحدة في حزمة واحدة كلًا من المرسل والمستقبل ودائرة التحكم، كما أنها تتميز بتصميم عملي ومضغوط. توفر الحساس دقة جيدة في قياس المسافة وقراءات ثابتة ضمن وحدة سهلة الاستخدام. ولا يتأثر أداؤه بأشعة الشمس أو بالأسطح السوداء كما يحدث مع بعض حساسات المسافة الأخرى، مع العلم أن المواد اللينة صوتيًا مثل القماش قد تكون أصعب في الاكتشاف.

يُعتبر طرفا Trigger وEcho هما أطراف الإدخال والإخراج الخاصة بهذه الوحدة، ولذلك يمكن توصيلهما مباشرة بأطراف الإدخال والإخراج في المتحكمات الدقيقة أو لوحات أردوينو. وعندما يكتشف المستقبل الموجة المرتدة، فإن طرف Echo يتحول إلى حالة مرتفعة لمدة زمنية معينة، وتكون هذه المدة مساوية للوقت الذي استغرقته الموجة للعودة إلى الحساس.

توفر وحدة القياس بالموجات فوق الصوتية HC-SR04 إمكانية قياس المسافات بدون تلامس من 2 سم إلى 400 سم، مع دقة قياس تصل إلى 3 مم.
